Handle 1353 is a classic handle that has been in the product portfolio for many years and which continues to be a popular choice for our customers. The design makes it fit in almost every kitchen, whether it be mounted in a trendy or more classic kitchen. 1353 fits in all the rooms of the home.

To raise the feeling in the room a little more, there is also 1353 in different designs of leather wrap. This is polished untreated brass that ages and is patinated beautifully over time.

Untreated brass ages and patinas beautifully over time

Our products in untreated brass lack protective lacquer so that the brass surface can react with oxygen and patinate. Untreated brass is an honest, vibrant, and ever-changing material with a lively surface that darkens and stains beautifully over time. Note that products in untreated brass with a brushed surface tend to darken faster than those in polished untreated brass. If you wish to brighten or remove stains from the products, they can easily be polished with a suitable metal polish.

Assembly and Installation
Mounting of handles

Mount the handle using the provided screws on the selected drawer, door, or piece of furniture. We recommend using a screwdriver to securely and stably attach the handle.

The distance between the screw holes is called the C/C measurement, which stands for “center to center” and is always given in millimeters. To find your existing C/C measurement, simply measure the distance between the center points of the screw holes.
Material and Finish
Polished or untreated brass – choose the right finish for your project

Polished brass (with protective lacquer) – The product does not age when exposed to air and will maintain its original appearance over time.

Polished untreated brass – The product is polished but has not received any surface treatment. It is difficult to tell the difference between a new handle made of polished brass and untreated polished brass, but the untreated handle will develop a patina over time.

Untreated brass – The product is neither lacquered nor polished, resulting in a matte finish that will develop a patina over time.
