Beslag Design AB, a prominent player in fittings and interior products, announces today that they have entered into an acquisition agreement with Salix Group AB – a customer-focused trading group that actively operates, develops and acquires operations in construction and industry. The acquisition applies to 100% of the company and gives Beslag Design the opportunity to operate within a broader context and continue its journey towards a new era of growth and expansion.

It's time to sum up the year and reflect on the year that has passed. A lot has happened at Beslag Design – we have launched exciting new products in most product categories, celebrated 50 years with an anniversary collection and welcomed several new employees.

In order to take on new geographic markets and meet the challenges of the future, we welcome Mattias Gunnarsson as the new sales manager. Mattias has great and long experience in the industry as well as in sales and leadership. He comes most recently from the role of sales manager at Alape. In the role of sales manager at Beslag Design, Mattias will have total responsibility for sales.

We are celebrating half a century in the service of design - with an anniversary collection in collaboration with acclaimed Monica Förster, world-class Swedish designer. The collection is carefully thought out and it was important to us at Beslag Design that all display material around the collection should breathe jubilee, stand out and maintain a high quality. Everything from signs, printed matter, films, texts and packaging must, just like the collection itself, express an industrial feel and have a design that will last over time.

Beslag Design's anniversary collection is designed by award-winning Monica Förster, one of the top names in Swedish design. She has collaborated with many big brands and created some of the classics of the future. Her innovative style has resulted in several prestigious design awards. The work is characterized by a strong sense of form and curiosity about new materials and techniques.

Now we make it easier for all architects to integrate handles, knobs, door handles and bathroom accessories into their projects. Beslag Design presents new details for the bathroom in the Base & Solid series. A wall-mounted soap pump holder and a shower shelf that lifts the feeling and facilitates storage in the bathroom. Like all Base & Solid products, the details have a self-adhesive back and you do not need to drill any holes.

Sometimes it itches in our fingers to tear out everything from floor to ceiling and completely renovate to create a whole and style that you often dream of. In some cases it may be the wallet that puts a stop to it, while in other cases it may be that time is not enough. In the name of honesty, it is also not very sustainable - unless it is absolutely necessary, that is. The solution to putting a unique stamp on your home or project is closer than that.

Our new lighting catalog has been launched, filled with several exciting lighting solutions. Among the news, we find a new LED-spot with several smart functions, two LED-luminaires, a new dimmer and a small and easy-to-mount drawer lighting.

2020 has been a very special year for the whole world due to Corona. Fortunately, Beslag Design have not been negatively affected and we have continued to be able to deliver an innovative and in-demand range of interior details. It's now time to round off 2020 and look back at some of our highlights from the year.

Beslag Design named Company of the Year in Båstad municipality at the Näringslivsfesten.

Today we finally launch our new website. For several months, we have planned, designed and built to create an user-friendly experience. New look, faster, more inspiration and a little better simply.

We recently introduced the interior design blogger Emelie Ekman who runs 34kvadrat.se as our new ambassador. The ambassadorship means that Emelie and Beslag Design will have a long-term collaboration in 2020. We asked Emelie 5 quick questions to get to know her a little better.

Beslag Design presents one of this year's news. A stylish, slender knob, which can also be used as a hook, called Sture. Sture fits into all rooms of the home.
