Untreated brass ages and patinas beautifully over time.

Our untreated brass products lack protective lacquer so that the brass surface can react with oxygen and develop a patina. Untreated brass is an honest, vibrant, and ever-changing material with a living surface that darkens and gets spotted in a beautiful way over time. Note that products in untreated brass with a brushed finish tend to darken and spot faster than those made from polished untreated brass. If you wish to brighten or remove stains from the products, they can easily be polished with an appropriate metal polish.

Assembly and Installation
Mounting of handles

Mount the handle using the provided screws on the selected drawer, door, or piece of furniture. We recommend using a screwdriver to securely and stably attach the handle.

The distance between the screw holes is called the C/C measurement, which stands for “center to center” and is always given in millimeters. To find your existing C/C measurement, simply measure the distance between the center points of the screw holes.
Material and Finish
Polished or untreated brass – choose the right finish for your project

Polished brass (with protective lacquer) – The product does not age when exposed to air and will maintain its original appearance over time.

Polished untreated brass – The product is polished but has not received any surface treatment. It is difficult to tell the difference between a new handle made of polished brass and untreated polished brass, but the untreated handle will develop a patina over time.

Untreated brass – The product is neither lacquered nor polished, resulting in a matte finish that will develop a patina over time.
