Here we go through step by step how Gina illuminated her string shelf with Flexy LED AT6 and the X-driver.
Step 1.
Start by measuring the length of the surface where the lighting is to be placed. Use a measuring tape or ruler. Measure the same dimensions on the LED-strip and make a mark on the underside, in a place that will not be visible when the lighting is later mounted. Flexy AT6 is delivered on a roll, so if you prefer to roll out the strip and measure on site, it also works well.
Step 2.
Cut the LED-strip to the desired length. Flexy LED AT6 is divisible in modules of 21.7 mm, so be careful when you cut, otherwise diodes that have no connection will be broken.
Step 3.
Since Gina has chosen the smart X-driver to be able to control the lighting with her smartphone, the control module CM4 needs to be connected. The CM4 module activates the wireless function, which enables X-drivers to integrate over the home network and is controlled via, for example, Google Home.
Step 4.
Connect the transformator with the LED-strip to make sure that everything is working properly and that it is connected correctly.
Step 5.
If everything works as it should, it is time to place the LED-strip. Flexy LED AT6 can be milled into a 6x6 mm groove or, like in this case, mounted on the surface with existing 3M tape. Just remove the tape and attach to the surface where the LED-strip is to be mounted.
