A new product can begin in different ways. Sometimes we start from a clear customer insight, sometimes from an idea or a direction we want to explore further. Regardless of the starting point, the ambition remains the same. To create something that adds value, both visually and functionally.
During the design phase, several aspects are crucial. Proportions, grip, expression and simplicity are balanced to find the right result. It is about creating products that are not only visually appealing, but that also function in everyday use. A knob or a handle should feel right, both in the hand and in the space.
A great deal of time is dedicated to details. This can involve small adjustments in form, how light interacts with a surface, or how different materials meet. It is often the small details that make the greatest difference.
