Care advice for our fittings

Here we tell you how you can take care of your handles and knobs in the best way. Beslag Designs products are available in many different materials and designs, but they generally do not need any advanced cleaning. They are easily cleaned by wiping with a clean, slightly damp cloth.

All fittings naturally need to be wiped clean if they get dirty. Remember to only wipe the fittings with a clean, lightly damp cloth and avoid using any cleaning agents as they can affect the surface. They can also be cleaned with a microfiber cloth.

Leather care
Leather is a natural material. With the right design, materials of the highest quality and little maintenance, you get a product that lasts a very long time and is patinated with dignity.

1. Use a damp cloth that has been wrung out properly when cleaning the leather.
2. After wiping the leather product, it's important to let the leather dry thoroughly before applying any form of impregnation (recommendation: Leather Masters Protection Cream).

Please note:
1. Exposure in direct sunlight can fade dark colors and make light colors darker.
2. Hot, dry air can dry out the leather if it is not impregnated regularly.
3. Some detergents and chemicals can discolor and damage the surface of the leather.
4. If you use too much water on the leather, it changes color.

Here, we provide more information specifically on leather care.

Wood durability
Wood is a natural material. If the fitting is exposed to strong forces, for example when mounting on an integrated refrigerator / freezer or dishwasher, we can not guarantee the strength. Here, you can find all our wooden handles and knobs.

New Spa Floors at Varbergs Kusthotell

In May 2026, Varbergs Kusthotell opened the first phases of its new spa floors. The carefully renovated spaces have been developed with respect for the building’s history, where generous ceiling heights, large windows and airy rooms allow natural light to flow throughout the property. The interiors are characterised by light tones, natural materials and a calm Nordic atmosphere, with the sea ever-present just beyond the windows. Throughout the project, the T Oliver knob reappears as a unifying design detail.
