Configure Nexus in 5 Simple Steps

Nexus is a micro profile designed for do-it-yourself configuration, making it easy to achieve linear lighting solutions customised ‘to the millimetre’ for both recessed and surface installation.

1. CHOOSE THE INSTALLATION TYPE

There are two diffuser screens, one for configuring the profile for recessed installation and one for surface installation. They easily hook onto the aluminium profile and ensure perfect adherence.

2. CHOOSE THE FINISH

The collection is composed of a universal aluminium profile in the anodised aluminium or matt black finishes.

3. CHOSE SENSOR OR DIMMER

There are two different options that can easily be integrated into the profiles for turning the lighting on and off - a touch dimmer or a motion sensor (PIR). We recommend the motion sensor for installation in cabinets that turn the lights on and off automatically when the door is opened or closed. Both options are available for recessed or surface-mounted installation. If you choose not to install the profile with any of the options, remember to purchase the power cable (included as standard with the sensor and dimmer).

4. COMPLETE THE PROFILE

Nexus is completed by the end caps, in a neutral finish for recessed installation and in an aluminium or black finish for surface installation. Finally, it can be easily installed with no need for tools using the fixing clips, which are also available for recessed or surface installation.

5. CHOOSE THE LIGHT SOURCE

Nexus can be configured with several different light sources, only 6mm wide. For example, the energy-efficient LED strip SHEP6B EVO. Choose the LED strip you prefer, cut to the desired length, and then connect to the sensor/dimmer or connection cable.
