Sometimes it itches in our fingers to tear out everything from floor to ceiling and completely renovate to create a whole and style that you often dream of. In some cases it may be the wallet that puts a stop to it, while in other cases it may be that time is not enough. In the name of honesty, it is also not very sustainable - unless it is absolutely necessary, that is. The solution to putting a unique stamp on your home or project is closer than that.
Our new lighting catalog has been launched, filled with several exciting lighting solutions. Among the news, we find a new LED-spot with several smart functions, two LED-luminaires, a new dimmer and a small and easy-to-mount drawer lighting.
What is retro? Retro is French rétro, from rétrospectif, looking back, ultimately from Latin, and aims to be inspired by or interested in the trends, fashions or technology of a previous era. Swedish kitchens from the 30s to the 60s have actually looked quite similar. Pastel colors, smooth doors, visible hinges, snap handles, the row of glass switches for spices under the kitchen cabinets and shack checkered floor. Leaning cupboards in wood and smooth sliding doors with snap handles.

We recently introduced the interior design blogger Emelie Ekman who runs 34kvadrat.se as our new ambassador. The ambassadorship means that Emelie and Beslag Design will have a long-term collaboration in 2020. We asked Emelie 5 quick questions to get to know her a little better.
Beslag Design's successful series Graf is growing, not only in the sense that the range will be larger, but the knobs and handles in the series will even grow and have expanded dimensions. This is where Graf Big is here! The knob is launched in a large version of 38mm and 50mm in diameter. The new handles in Graf Big also have a larger diameter of 14mm which gives a stronger grip, perfect for doors and cabinets with large dimensions.
The new design is called HABIT, an ingenious solution to a well-known issue in many homes that have handleless units and drawers in their kitchens. Small in size but bigin stature, this design with its ribbed surface, functions as a visual identifier, showing where the user must press the front of the unit or drawer to open it. It creates a completely new habit, hence the name, HABIT.
Replacing handles in the kitchen? In collaboration with trendenser.se, we now show how different fittings can affect the finish and the feeling of exactly the same basic conditions. An easy way to change your kitchen without making any major intervention is to change handles and knobs. But it is not always easy to imagine what the difference will be.
Beslag Design presents one of this year's news. A stylish, slender knob, which can also be used as a hook, called Sture. Sture fits into all rooms of the home. Renew furniture such as kitchen doors, wardrobes, chests of drawers and chests of drawers, or attach the knob as a hook to the wall in the hall or bedroom for nice hanging.
Interior design blogger Emelie Ekman, who runs 34kvadrat, is Beslag Design's new ambassador and an important part of the company's investment going forward. The ambassadorship means that Emelie and Beslag Design will have a long-term collaboration in 2020. \"The collaboration is one hundred percent genuine on my part and I am incredibly happy that I came into contact with Beslag Design\", says Emelie.
